Can't stream Bluetooth audio in 2012 Justa with Mini Connect

I've long had the phone paired for calls.

I found the place in the control menus to turn on Bluetooth Audio. However, I still can't find a way to wirelessly stream music via Bluetooth.

It would be very convenient for occasions (like now) when I've misplaced my Lightning cable.

Any idea what I'm missing?

For me, you have to check the box on the phone that says something like "stream music through bluetooth", or "allow music streaming via bluetooth." Its probably somewhere in your bluetooth settings.

What type of phone is it?

Make sure that your music player on your phone is actually playing. I know it sounds silly, but tap "play" on your phone's music player.

Go back to the phone icon > bluetooth > select your phone and make sure the box is checked for Audio. Then you go to external devices, select your phone, and then it should start playing the last song.

So far it hasn't done that, devicemanager. Maybe I will delete and re-pair.

It's an iPhone 5S.

I see the paired phone on the dashboard display, and it gives me the option to check or uncheck Bluetooth audio, but so far, nothing plays. When I go to Multimedia/CD it just starts playing a CD and while it gives me a Menu item of Bluetooth Audio, choosing it does nothing.

SoCalledFriend, I know what you mean. I will carefully check tomorrow.

I figured it out!

After setting up the car for Bluetooth Audio, you have to go back into the CD/Multimedia dashboard menu and "re-choose" your iPhone as the audio source. Then it works.

Congrats! I posted that info in my previous response as well.
