Focal 6.5 components in front door

Hey Everyone,
new to the forum. My wife and I picked up a 2009 MCS clubman . And we love the car but are kinda disappointed with the factory stereo and want to upgrade the stereo.
We have the 10 speaker w/ tweets not the HK system.

I've used Focal speakers before and I read where most have put in the 6.5 inch in the front doors.
My questions are , how much modifying did you need to do to the door cards?

Did they find behind the stock speaker covers or did you remove the factory speaker covers and make the speaker opening in the door card larger and use the Focal speaker covers?

Any pics of in finished install would be great!

Going to run a JL audio 225w amp as well.
thanks!
