Navigation & Audio Getting static noise through speakers after speaker/amp upgrade

Any thoughts on amp noise from a 2011 R56 Harman Kardon system when the car and radio are turned off!? Completely stock R56 Harman Kardon system with no additional GPS, etc. Reading the above threads, my first thought was a loose ground but why would it continue to make noise when the car is off and key removed? Thanks in advance!
