Can't find CD changer pre-wiring

I have an 05 R50 and for the life of me can't seem to find the CD changer pre-wiring in the trunk of my car. Was looking into buying a Silverline DUO but this might set me back. I there a possibility my car was never pre-wired in the first place or is there somewhere else I'll find it?

If it was wired for a CD changer there will be two plugs with nothing plugged into them on the wiring harness in the right rear access panel.

I checked there and looked throughout with a flashlight. Found nothing.

I would expect a '05 R50 to be prewired. The cable should be a short branch coming out from a larger wiring bundle, and taped up. Perhaps the connector is hidden under tape? Look for light or masking tape (not black cloth electrical tape).

Nothing but black cloth tape. No connectors or anything. It's fine, I'll just get the auxiliary input and connect it to the rear of the head unit instead.

One more thing to check before giving up. The other end of the cable goes to plug B at the headunit:

If a cable is connected there, the trunk end must be somewhere loose behind the rear panel. If no cable at plug B, then there is probably no prewiring.

FWIW, here's what mine looked like in an '04S w/HK. The CD connector is taped to the black wiring bundle with masking type tape.

Yeah, definitely no masking tape. When my OEM aux input comes in and I take a look behind the HU, I'll see if it is there or not. Thanks though.

All cars after 2003 (i think that was the year) should have neen prewired.
i know when i installed my xm, it took a bit to find the plugs on my 05....but i found it after a few tries.

Don't think the the R50 was prewired, only the R53. There were some R50s that had it but for some reason they stopped.

So I finally got behind the head unit and found no such wiring.

Also Looking for CD Changer wiring (for iSimple iPod Adaptor)

2 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to hook up an iSimple iPod adaptor. It's supposed to plug into the CD Changer harness. Like Sneakz's original question, I can't find the wiring. My Mini is an '02, and I assumed the wiring wasn't there. I pulled off the head unit and there is wiring in the B slot (see picture). The plug for the adaptor that is suppose to plug into the CD changer doesn't fit anything on the back of the radio (other picture). Do I have CD Changer wiring? If so where? If not, how to plug in this adaptor? Thanks.
