Hissssssss
When I plug my iPhone into the auxiliary port I get a hissing sound and get the same sound when I play. Anyone else having this same problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This happened to me before and what it turned out to be was the stereo's AUX volume setting. It was set too low so when I turned up the stereo to hear my ipod the speakers hissed. Don't know if it's the same problem but it might be something to check.

Some people have had an issue where the AUX input was ground side was not ground properly.
Could also be a loose connector or a bad cable used to connect the iPhone to the AUX port. |

Having the same issue when I hook up my iPhone 4S. If I use an iPod Touch there is no hiss.
