given a MINI USB 8meg stick for xmas, but it won't fit!
 
You know the one that looks like a MINI key, its round. Well the round part hits the silver part of the dash and will not allow the stick to go in all the way! I think the USB plugin is a OEM MINI part. Anyone noticed this? Looks like I'll need a 4" USB jumper and let the thing hang:eek2:

I figured this part was for use in a PC not the car. But I could see it's use in the car.

You can use a much shorter swiveling type of adapter such as: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-R.../dp/B0055CRA3I

when they first started giving those out in 2008 there were a number of threads about this and complaint to MINI USA as well. dome people were able to get and extension from their dealers.
