ISO : garmin Nuvi dealer install photos

I just had a garmin nuvi mini installed by my dealer and I think they installed it too low. As I think the top articulation spot is 12 oclock and mine only goes to about 10 oclock at the top position if that makes sense. Its easier for me to see through the steering wheel at the lowest position. Just wanted to see if somebody had pics of their dealer install? Here is a shot at the lowest position

I gave up trying to usea bigger Garmin 255?, with that mount. Appearanty, the MINI /Garmin is really small. Trying to use a bigger unit results in having the steering wheel blick 1/2 the screen. The only good thing about that mount is the factory connection for power. I just use the suction cup on the speedo now. It's way easier to see and use.

I agree, we have the factory GPS in my wifes 06 S with the 3.5" screen MINI Nuvi and it looks good and is fully visible, In My 09 I have a 4.3" nuvi and it didnt work oin the factory style mount as stated in the above post. I use the Cravenspeed mount's and it makes it much more visible and works great with my Iphone4 as well.

What mount are you using? Does it use the mounting holes behind the tach and will it work if you have dual Alta gauge pods installed?

+1 for Cravenspeed. I installed a Garmin 5" & ran a concealed power wire & very pleased with results.

I just stuck mine to the speedometer with the suction cup mount that came with my Garmin. It works great for me and I watch the digital speed in the tachometer.
