Hi. I have a 2009 Mini Chilli and the audiosystem manual says the stereo can store "up to 20,000 songs", but it doesn't say how to do this. Has anyone found out?

The head unit itself does not store music. It can index music from a USB thumb drive if you have a USB port.

Please move to gen2.

ThanX, ran-o-matic. It has an USB port, so I'll try that, though, an iPod sounds like less trouble.

You could use either. The USB thumb drive is really easy to use. Heck, I use my Blackberry with just the Aux.
