hi guys.....as u knoe, the mini has very limited trunk space.....so i was wondering....is it possible to mount a sub firing into the rear seat and having the seat being the enclosrue??.....

could be a really stupid question....but just wondering...

if you go to someone who fabricates enclosers they could do it there is enough room
but it may cost ya.

 

Interesting...I was thinking of just taking the rear seats out and making a custom enclosure for 3 subs, but that would cost a lot of $$$$$

Sure, you could do anything you want. Remove the entire back seat and fabricate something to hold whatever you want for subs and get rid of any rear seating or maybe keep one of the seats but it would be pretty loud being so close to the subs. There is also nothing to stop you from removing the 6x9 rear speakers and building in something custom to replace them too. Anything is fine as long as you design it to fit into the area that is bare from the removal of the stock MINI interior. Use your imagination.
