Any helpful hints taking the driver's side midrange pod off?

Sorry for creating the thread, but can someone give me any hints or lessons learned how to remove the driver's side door pod where the 3.5" midrange is? How exactly do I remove the mirror switch and save myself a headache?

Just one above this post was a big one I included this link. It's for the r56, but I believe the process is the same for the panels

I've already taken apart my passenger door, but since the driver's side has the side mirror switch it's a little different. I read that long thread above before but IIRC, they just mention that it was a little tricky/difficult. I'm just wondering since more people have done it now, if they could give me some hints or something.

Maybe this site might be able to at least show you how it's installed?
