want to run a 4 channel from the factory amp

Hi im new to this forum and the MINI . Your all part of the genius blood line for picking this car. Its incredibly fun. The only thing it is lacking is the audio system. does anybody have a link or know the color codes for both audio systems. Im not sure which one I have. It's a 07' MINI S . please help. Il post picks when im done. thanks

why hasnt anybody said anything on this subject . I know somebody here appreciates aftermarket sound and has installed there own

Check out the other threads -- you'll find connector layouts and wiring color codes. You'll also find out why you don't want to run an amp off the OEM head unit's rear speaker outputs!

You'll even learn the secret to getting the rear speakers out, which involves removing (among other things) the rear seat...

Spend an hour or so reading through other threads, and ask away -- we're here to help, and a lot of the questions you have (and even more questions that you should have) are answered in the record of the trials and tribulations of those who have tread this path before you.

Look around, and ask away -- some of the stuff is buried or old and hard to find. The Frequency Response thread (that I started) is collecting all sorts of goodies, including a pointer to the Mcaw wiring diagrams --

Wow, so as to not pollute that other epic thread, that mcaw link is priceless. So much stuff to read about!
