Number of Subs MCS R56

What do you reccommend. 2 x 10" subs or just 1 x 10" sub. Using one amplifier.

I have seen some with 2 subs, and some with 1, both getting good reviews. what does everyone prefer? Will i achieve better bass / sound? What are your opinions.

I'm really happy with my single older Rockford Fosgate HE2 10" dual-voice coil in a small, sealed box. The setup is capable of putting out more bass than I could ever tolerate in the MINI, and it scales really well for a variety of different types of music.

I couldn't imagine there's really a huge benefit to going with more than a single, high quality sub-woofer in this application.

Good luck with your system, either way.

I'm throwing in a single shallow mount Rockford Fosgate 10" in the rear. I would imagine that will be plenty for the MINI. Plus this way I'm not gonna loose a ton of space.

I'm going to put 12 in my Clubman, and another 14 outside. (j/k....I'd be happy with one decent sub)
