I am in need of some advice from someone who has successfully routed speaker cable to the front doors.

I was able to get the cable through the connectors and down the rubber tubing to the door. However, I can't lock the connector on the inside of the car (this connector locks the plug from the door to the cabin. The access hole on the inside of the car is very small, and a just can't seem to reach far enough to lock the connectors.

Before I rip of all my fingers, does anyone out there know a trick?
