The kit is a reasonable price at $185. It contains a TON of stuff! A couple of big harnesses, the mic, the BT antenna, and the underseat box. The ULF module is the tough part, you can get it for $350 at parts.com. I got a used one for $50.

Install took me about eight hours taking my time. It was a lot of work. Lots of little details like pulling and swapping pins out of the back of the radio harness and making sure the MOST bus fiber optic ring was working correctly. Running the harness through the dash was tricky, too.

I did the programming myself with NCS Expert. Programming at the dealer will vary in cost based on if the car needs a complete update they can add the retrofit. Couple of hundred bucks probably.

I was in the dealer yesterday and they gave me a part number PN65110035959 which contained the interface box and maybe cables. I didn't ask. Its $330. Does this need any special programing?

65110035959 is an iPod ONLY system that connects in place of the CD changer. And it does require programming/retrofit by the dealer (or equiv).

Thanks. I just found that out. So now DIY and just take to dealer for programming?
