Got my focals in!
Late last night I finished up the install. A bit of a pain in the ass but nothing terrible. The 3 way polyglass setup sounds WONDERFUL and very clean. I have a HORRIBLE peripheral PCH8 "oem integration" adaptor, I cant tell you how big of a piece of crap it is. When I get the 3sixty in there I'll get everything taken care of. Its a little noisy, I need to do some tuning, but it sounds great.
And Adam you'll get the prototype soon! :) |
Let me know Let me know Let me know
When i can come down :) |
3sixty.2 going in the car on friday, excited to see how it sounds. The factory amp is out of the car completely. Frees up some much needed space! I'll get some pics when the install is actually tidy, its a mess right now.

hehe sounds good
i may just change out the amplifier, and keep the stock audio speakers.... i don't know just yet :p |
Is the woofer a 6.5? and did you have any modification of the opening to get them in? I had none on my 6.5 K2P's. Where did you mount your tweeters? I currently have mine in the stock (4") speaker location, angling toward the opposite A-Pillar, but I think I'm going to move them up to the A-Pillar.
Congrats and I still wanna see your freaking sub enclosure. (even though I've already built mine) |
I know I know... Our cnc machine is being rewired right now. I had to LIGHTLY grind the plastic on the door, I mean LIGHTLY to get them to fit fine. I had hifi to begin with so i just used some epoxo 88 to put the tweeters in the stock hifi location. The back is a MESS until the 3sixty comes so i'll update you then with pics of course. And yes the box pics will be up soon i just need to make a final one, this one had some fitment revisions done by hand. Until next time!!
Have fun, Josh |
