Garmin Streetpilot i3 Automotive GPS

Hey, I have the opportunity to buy one of these at a great price...

What are peoples opinions on them?

My only concern is that it looks like you have to upload maps to as you want to go places.. that it does not hold all maps in it...

anyone know if I can get the MINI graphic and use it on here... that would be neat.

How much are they asking for it?

Frank Matyja 06-16-2007 09:46 AM

The reason I ask is that model is old technology. The new Garmin Nuvis are the latest and prices are dropping rapidly. I have the Nuvi 360 and got it for $396.00. It originally listed for 900+. It's the exact same machine that MINI sells for $750.00. It has blue tooth for hands free telephone, is an MP3 Player, Holds photographs, has a SD card slot and great size and looks.

I have all of the MINI graphics loaded on mine.

$150

I knew it was a bit older.

That unit up here is normally $300 +

I had a street pilot 3 and after the inital minor pain in the butt of uploading it worked fine . I was able to load the entire west coast and Nv as well . I sold it about a year ago for $ 400 and they are still happy with it. If you need accessories they are still available. For $ 150 how can you go wrong.

The Nuvis come with the complete USA and Hawaii and Puerto Rico Preloaded and you can upgrade from the Garmin Site. Oh well!
