Just bought my first Mini, 2011 S Convertible. Love it!!

 

Hello Farmer Jon and welcome!

 

I purchased my 2008 Mini S about a month ago, and am really loving it. Have already tinted the windows, added a short antenna, replaced the chrome grill surround with new black pieces, and bought a set of the Zippee Shades sunroof shades.

Here's a picture of the car (before replacing the grill pieces).



I am really into cars, and also have a '91 NSX, a '95 Supra and a '99 M3 Convertible.

If anyone wants to ever meet up and go for a ride, let me know. I know some fantastic roads in the Kingston Springs and Leipers Fork areas to drive on. We could meet at the Shell station located at the entrance of the Natchez Trace Parkway, go for a ride for a few hours, and stop somewhere afterward for some munchies and a cold beer.

Hello All! I'm new here and have had my stock 07 mini Cooper S for about a year now! God bless the Coop as my last Mini (O9) was struck at a high rate of speed and totaled, but in her defense so was the full size passenger vehicle that hit her! Me? I was banged up pretty bad, with closed head injuries from the impact, but she saved my life for certain! She collapsed around me, the floor board rippled past the accelerator and the car buckled down both sides. Please put me on the invite list, I'd love to join the group!

i live in clarksville but work in nashville new to Love our mini's Lisa and i both bought one in november. hers is a 07 "s" Blue with white stripes and she is a gator fan. mine is and 09 "s" astro black metallic. went out to asheville last week via the tail of the dragon. must say "awesome". i will put some pics up soon. just wanted to say hi. anybody in clarksville be sure and give us a shout..

We have at least one or two events a month with the club. If you're on Facebook, Middle Tennessee MINIs has a page there were we post info about our events. You have to ask to be included, but shouldn't be a problem. We are having our monthly get together at Pie in the Sky in Cool Springs this Saturday at 5:30 PM. Hope to see you there.

 

Newbie from Brent-ioch area (barely north of Brentwood). I'm completely new to the Mini but I am LOVING my 08 R56! She's blue with white roof and stripes and has 44,000 miles. I could get in SOOOO much trouble with this car! It's the first car I've ever owned that my BF WANTS to drive!

Thanks for the reply. I'm already on the Facebook page and it is definitely rocking. I would have to say that my mini cooper s is the fastest car I have ever owned and it is one of the funnest cars to drive hands down! It is definitely FUN, FUN, FUN. Hope to meet all you guys soon.

 

Recently acquired an '04 Cooper S (R53) and have fallen in love with driving again. It's my daily driver (love the mileage) as I have a about 25 mile commute from Franklin to Nashville each day of the week. And I can't stop driving it on the weekends either! This website has been invaluable so far as I've already done some maintenance myself and will be keeping an eye out for any future issues. FYI, 'mine' is an all Indi Blue S (blue roof) with black hood stripes, pretty much all the S options: panoramic roof, Premium and Sport Performance packages (except navi), 17" wheels, and 88K miles.

 

Nice to meet you, DavidK! I, too, have a long Williamson Co to Nashvegas commute - it's so much fun to drive it in a car I have FUN in! Your Coop sounds sweet!
