Has anyone heard how the various Rise and Shine Rallies will be handled? I was wondering if there will be an official route everyone takes or is it up to each person to find their way to the next destination.

Since I live so close to the Rise and Shine location in Atlanta, I thought I would check it out. The MTTS website says it will take place at the parking lot across the street from the official hotel. The parking lot isn't large at all, so it's gonna be tight fit to get no telling how many MINIs in there!

 

When registering for Atlanta yesterday, I noticed the time listed for the rally was from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. I think what they are calling a rally may actually be the drive to Knoxville. The first event in Knoxville is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm.

Beyond that, I haven't heard anything.

 

My ticket says the Rise and Shine Rally in Atlanta is from 9AM - 3PM, but the MTTS website says it's from 8AM - 9AM, drive off at 9AM.

 

So you rise, and shine, maybe, then maybe some coffee, and rallye the rest of the day away.

 

Sent an email to MTTS and here is their reply...

You should definitely stick with the 8am-9am time frame if you want to depart with the bulk of the group. There will be suggested routes handed out on the morning of the Rise & Shine and each driver decides which route they want to drive. Perhaps that is why your ticket says 9am-3pm. Regardless, the group will start to gather at 8am. Hope that helps.

I'm doing the Dragon on the way to Knoxville. I hope one of the routes is through the Dragon. If not, I doubt I will be the only one.
