The MONO-COM has a cable lenght of 6'8" (2 meters). We carry serial extension cables as well (17 and 25 Feet).

FYI, I have used the excellent MONO-COM cable with two 25 foot extensions (50 feet of extensions total) to load / unload the MTH program on my ECU repeatedly with no problems.

It's nice to be able to sit at my desktop computer and do this sort of thing.

I think the 6'8" cable will be enough! I have a computer in my garage that is ~5 feet away, and it has a TWO serial ports!

No, it extends the serial side - it's just a 9 pin extension cable.
