OK, we are getting down to the wire, post here if your coming to MITM in August, what MINI are you driving, how many are in your MINI, what do you have planned for a favorite ride or activity?

We are looking forward to see all of you.

I will start, coming up on Wednesday for the whole show.

We will be bringing up two MINIs, my 07 MCSa, my wifes 2011 ALL4 S Countryman.

Looking forward to the rides to Rand, Ute Pass and the Photographer's Run.

Not really looking forward to any type of Ice Cream Run.

Arriving Tues p.m. from Chicago in my '05 PS/B MCSC Stirling. Looking forward to seeing old friends and finding some new roads. Definitely interested in Ice Cream Runs. Planning to lead a Mt. Evans at Sunset run on Friday evening (see other thread). Probably will also get some expert detailing advice from Richard and Heather/Nick. May start on my 'blackout' project if someone has a CF blackout tape kit available.

Jhondeaux 07-09-2012 11:37 AM

We're arriving Thursday afternoon, 1 MINI 2 people. Mrs. Jhondeaux is looking forward to the Auto-X. I'm looking forward to my first time being there, getting away from the heat, checking out the vendors, going on a couple of rides, and hearing all about Mrs. Jhondeaux's Auto-X experience.

My wife and I will be heading up Wed in my CM. I told her she could drive her Clubman up for autoX, but she didn't think it was worth the long trip in separate cars. I'm looking forward to the massage I booked in WP. :-)

i "think" i'll be up Wed afternoon. Me, the fiance, and the Precious! I'm looking forward to the brew swap, as I've never gotten there for that in all the years I've been to MITM. as for rides, looking forward to leading the brewery run friday afternoon. Maybe getting a ride around the autoX course w/ one of the instructors again. Taking lots of pictures, and hopefully having a smooth event!

other then that, maybe an hour or so in my giant chair i have on loan to WP in the gazebo in the village, and just trying to find time to relax w/ friends, both new and old.

Okay, what brewery run? Can't find any other references to it.

d0r33t0s 07-13-2012 11:15 AM

did that last year as an impromtu run. this year it's planned, it'll be in the Owners Manual that will go out shortly.

Trip up to Grand Lake Brewing Co for lunch and tasty beverages, friday at 2 pm

Could this and other planned rides be added to the Group Rides page under the Schedule section of the website? Based on that, the only scheduled drive is the Caribou Ranch ride/hike on Saturday. I would be interested in knowing what other rides are planned so I can coordinate my other activities (perhaps meeting some friends in Evergreen) around them. As of now, I'm figuring I'll do a Loveland Pass, lunch in Dillon/Frisco, Leadville and Vail run on my own sometime Th or F. I'm also planning to pre run Mt. Evans on Wed before leading the 'sunset' run on Friday evening.

On a similar note, can the vendors registered be listed on the List of Vendors page on the website? If I knew who was coming, I might pre order some products for pickup, but without the list who can tell.

our webmaster is on vacation, it may be that you'll get the owners manual before he gets back to put all that up

Yes, our webmaster has been playing in the Caribbean, look for updates as time allows.

You will be getting updates and the Owners Manual very soon.

Number 7 for us. Coming from Oklahoma 28-Jul for the whole week. Probably do the continental divide run to Leadville and the Caribou Ranch Run & Hike. Planning 3 mornings or afternoons of mountain biking myself and would like others to come.
3 Mini's "Miles""Tweety""Sean's Mini"
Look me up if you want to Mt. Bike one morning or afternoon. Rental for me the Trestle bike park is awesome.
Also noticed at the end of this week Colorado freeride festival going on at WP. :)
