It's Party Time!

MINIsOnTop June 16th, 2007

Registration is now open:

Yes, it's that time again ... finally.
We waited to see if the Cod would take over again, now that he's (almost) back in a MINI ... but no.

The story so far - This is MOT#5!
Friday evening gathering - we expect to have a large room like MOT2006. We expect a Trivia Contest too. And a Moose Hunt
Saturday morning - Loon Mountain Gathering, the best place to meet (and for many of us maybe the first chance to see a pile of R56s - and the Cods new turbo!) Car wash - Boot Sale - General Silliness
Saturday midday - the drive; there will be a choice of routes; or gather with other MINI friends and do your own thing (for best entertainment - follow the Ocean State MINI or NEMINI guys)
Saturday afternoon - Mount Washington; gather at the base and eat. chat, win prizes. Food arrangements will duplicate MOT2006 with a separate tent to ease congestion - and the salad will return
Hopefully this years weather will be nice (???) again and perhaps we'll get a sunset view for the first time since 2003 ... or maybe it'll snow, who knows?
Saturday evening - Apres MOT party at the Town & Country.

This years charity has been selected by the voice of the people; it is Rosie's Place - we need everyones help raising donations to support the charity, provide door-prizes, etc.

In recognition of it being the fifth year of MINIsOnTop, Craig / Cooperation has designed a special "five years of MINIs" Tshirt for us.

The Tshirts this year will be gray and the MOT2007 color is yellow on black. There will again be a "classic" Tshirt design (with no MINIs) for those that prefer it (and for those that simply want to collect as many shirts as me )

http://www.minisontop.com/ has been upgraded to allow easier updates - and we'll keep track of chat/ideas/suggestions/etc here.

Registration is open until April 29 - also be sure to book your lodging early, hotels fill up quickly!

Actually It was all Ian's - I just played sports writer from the Boston Globe and copied it;)

Well, I did recognize that, but great plagiarizing all the same. Wait, is that what you're learning in school? :p
