Rockford here, MCS MC40

 

Hey guys, we are in Warren, IL in between Rockford and Galena. Are you others near us still MINI owners?

 

Palatine for the next two weeks then in Westchester! Woot!!

 

We're still in Forreston, south of Freeport. And I think there's at least 2 that live in Freeport.

 

I saw a completely blacked out Mini Cooper on Pearl City Road in Freeport yesterday around 1:45pm. It had blue LEDs for the position and driving lights. The car flashed me and I waved my arm out the window back. It was a very sweet looking ride!

Anyone know who owns this one?

 

Don't know, but we're the yellow and black and we're in freeport pretty often.

 

Saw a Chili Red Mini Cooper at McD's yesterday. We parked away from it because we had the boys, but when we saw them load up, we were surprised to see a Mom, Dad and 2 boys. Exactly how we arrived.

They stopped and checked out our Mini before they left. It was really cute!

 

I know of eight in Freeport, including me.
(Ok, I'm actually three miles outside of Freeport; but I have a Freeport address, so I should count.)

But as of now, yes, that tour date is available.

So there is at least two in rockford.

Is there a local club anyone knows about that meets near rockford?

I do not know of any organized group currently in the Rockford area. Most owners are likely members of the Chicago CMMC group. Of course there is also groups in Madison, Milwaukee and Eastern Iowa. Each group sort of has it's own character, so check them out.
