There are people in our lives who help shape us. One of those people for me was my uncle. He was the car guy who helped make me a car guy. He unfortunatley is no longer with us. This is his car, an all original example 2004 Cooper S. Currently it has 21,971 miles on the clock. The car was ordered new and options included: Indi blue paint, Combo #2 Sport ( DSC, Sport Seats, Front Fog lamps, Rear Spoiler, 17inch Wheels,White bonnet stripes) 3 spoke sport steering wheel. Picture of window sticker in Gallery.
Recent check up produced a clean bill of health. New Conti DWS tires were added which replaced the original run flats due to age. No accidents or paint work ever.
All service records since new. 2 working keys, complete car. The interior shows nearly new as does the exterior but one wheel does have a little rash (shown in gallery.)
My hopes are to find the next steward for this car and what better place than this site! Please feel free to ask questions Thank you!

Honestly I'd ask more for it as it is worth every penny of $8900. You just can't buy an 04 without having to put a bunch of money into it and have it as nice as this car appears.

also FYI the pass engine mount looks like it's lost the oil and should be replaced, but that is a normal failure, not something to be too concerned with.

 

Thanks Waymotorworks. I appreciate the guidance. I can have the motor mount looked at. I did see some go for more $ over at BAT (Bring A Trailer) auctions looked at some historical data etc, but wasn't sure based on it's equipment etc. I will take this under consideration,

 

This would have been a perfect candidate for BAT (bringatrailer.com). They've had some amazing MINIs bringing some really good money.
This car is basically a time capsule. GLWTS.

 

Defiantly recommend looking into getting this on BAT, lots of people looking for low mileage factory examples like this. Good luck with selling this.
