It pains me to do this but its time to part with one of my favorite cars I've ever owned. I am the "second" owner of GP #0231, though I use second owner lightly as I bought the car with only 40 miles on the odometer in August of 2013. As you can see by the current mileage, I drove the car as an occasional weekend vehicle. There are absolutely no stories of any kind with the car. I bought it in 2013 with the intention of daily driving it, but I'm one of those people who hates to see the odometer creep up. Reason for the sale is that I am moving and can't take the car with me due to space constraints and I also want to see it being driven! Its an absolute riot of a car.
The mileage as of 4/11/18 is 9261. It will go up slightly as I have to get the car serviced and the nearest dealer is about a 40 mile round trip from where the car is currently being stored. I have service records going back to the first service.
It is a bone stock car mechanically. I have done a few, easily reversible, cosmetic modifications including blacking out the lower window trim and gas cap and headlight surrounds, rennline pedals and fire extinguisher, and NM engineering titanium heat shield. The entire front clip is also covered in a clear bra (entire hood, bumper, mirrors, front quarter panels and first 1/3 of the roof) The only blemish on the car is a small scuff on the driver side front splitter. I'm sure it can be easily removed, I just haven't had time to look into it. Other than that the car is absolutely flawless. Sorry about some of the pictures, the car is a little dusty. I'm going to try and wash it and will follow up with some more photos.
If you have any questions at all feel free to ask! I encourage anyone who is local and interested to come see the car in person! If you want any specific photos of the car let me know and I'll get them to you ASAP!
Sean

One of these with only 2,500 miles on it just sold for $25,750 on BaT.

They have proven to not be that valuable yet.
Good luck with your sale, but I think you are asking too much.

Dave.0- Mine sold for $22k with 47k miles, I was pretty lucky.
I miss my GP2, it was a good daily car and zipping through traffic. I saw it a month ago being driven by the new owner and it was pretty dirty and needed a wash badly, i wanted to cry haha

If you buy just about any car with super low mileage, and drive it, the value will go down. MINI's are not collectable--yet. Sure, an enthusiast will pay more for a low mileage car upfront, but the value will quickly go down as the car is driven. Value is in the eyes of the beholder...

A brief point of clarification... The BAT buyers fee is 5%, so the buyer actually owes $27,037.50 for the BAT auction car.

Thanks for the input. I'm aware the BaT car sold for less than what I'm asking with fewer miles. In my opinion that doesn't change the value of my car, I think whoever bought the BaT car got a screaming deal. There are several non GP (but still very nice) R56 cars on this very forum for sale in the low 20's with moderate milage. IF you don't believe the GP is a lot more car than a "regular" JCW then I don't know what to tell you. Having owned several Mini's in just about every flavor they come in I can tell you its a night and day difference from every other Mini I've driven/owned. I think my pricing is reasonable and I'll entertain all serious offers. The car is for sale because I don't drive it and it deserves to go to a new home where it can be used and enjoyed, not because I need to sell it.
If anyone has any other questions or comments feel free to message me. Thanks for looking everyone.
Also, as a side note, (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) as far as I know in regards to BaT, the seller sets the reserve price and if the bid gets near enough to the set reserve, BaT will potentially make up the difference between the bid and reserve price. Unless you know what the reserve was, as set by the seller, the seller could have been compensated by BaT to sell the car.
