2005 Slick Top, LSD, Chrono Pack w/ Manual

Year: 2005
Make: MINI
Model: Hardtop
Price: $4988
Mileage: 94123
Color: Blackeye Purple Metallic
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): Texas

Found this while looking for an R56. Figured I would post it here as it's a rare car in this color. Heck slick top manuals with LSD and Chrono Packs are hard as hell to find regardless of color!

Someone needs to buy this so I don't. LoL.

Guessing its in pretty good shape as if it wasn't the dealer would have wholesaled it out. Definitely a driver's car based on the options.

Very nice, looks like a good buy. Funny, the dealer lists it as Hyper Blue metallic when it's obviously Blackeye Purple metallic. Super rare color.

I wish it had a black or body-colored roof. The white on purple is just too feminine / too much contrast.

Easy enough to paint or vinyl wrap the roof if you wanted to change.

That's true. Stripe removal and gloss black wrap on the roof would do good things. Then different wheels, then suspension, then.... I miss my slicktop / lsd equipped r53.

Not too shabby! I'm having a hard time finding photos of modified BEP or "Purple Haze" R53's. The price and options are right on this one; location, not so much.

Location is central in the US, easy to have the dealer ship it Some bits on the car in the OP look a bit tired. Driver's seat is torn, headlights are hazed, but still a good foundation for a nice build.

Yeah- I spoke with him. Seems that the headliner is tired as well. Maybe not such a great deal. The seats don't bother me once some Wet Okole covers are added. We'l see how badly they want it gone.

I'm sure you can easily double the cost just getting it "up to standard" and addressing the usual R53 issues. I just went through that process with a high mileage 2003 (including new headliner and a looong list of other replacement parts) but it's worth it IMHO to have something that unique.

The Carfax actually shows some good maintenance. No open recalls, either.

A Mother who now has two children traded it in for a Tucson. Can't blame here for not wanting to stuff car seats in this thing.

If someone in Texas buys this - I have a like new drivers seat that I'd sell.

Haha...guilty. It absolutely needs a headliner, and has some chipping on the front-end. Otherwise it seems like a clean car.

How serendipitous that of all people, you also wrote a nice headliner replacement DIY. If I have questions, can you expand on the process?
