This stock MCS would be an excellent starting point for a modded Mini as it has great colors, relatively low miles, and the right factory options.
Recent work completed in the last 12 months/10k miles includes the list below. The work was completed by factory trained techs at Mini North Scottsdale. I have copies of the repair orders. All parts brand new and OEM.
Cylinder head rebuild--new head gasket, valves, and brand new OEM cam
New fuel pump
New coolant expansion tank
Oil pan gasket replaced
Crank shaft sensor o ring replaced
Dipstick o ring replaced
Radiator fan
Rear brake pads and rotors
A/C refreshed--blows cold now
Power steering deleted with PS delete kit
BMW Aux in jack
Car runs great. Clutch feels good. The car has been adult driven and not abused as far as I can tell.
I bought the car site unseen from a dealer in southern Ohio in winter 2015. I titled the car in NJ, but as I knew I was moving to AZ in the spring, did not drive then--the car was too clean. When I got here, I was able to address some of the maintenance issues the seller did not disclose. Even though I get a discount on parts and labor through my job, I have put close to $4k into the car to get it tip top. Id now completely trust it for a coast to coast trip, or daily driving.
I'm selling because it looks like I'll get a company car, and I've got another project in the works--home renovation! Yay!
Thanks for looking and for your consideration.
Tim
PS I ship cars all the time and can help if needed.

how much would it cost to ship to NJ?

Didn't realize there was such interest in the head/cam. The head was noted as warped. There was a bit of wear on a few of the cam lobes, so we did that as a while-you-are-in-there repair. The bottom end of the motor looked fine or I would have replaced the entire unit.
Bear in mind, that repair was done 12k miles and 14 months ago. The car has not consumed coolant or oil in that time, so all seems OK.

Also, to clarify, I would have shipped to the lower 48 for my original $6500 asking price. At $4900 I cannot extend that offer. I would be happy to assist with setting up shipping at cost.
