Most notably the engine was replaced under the CPO warranty by Herb Chambers Mini of Boston at 84500 due to a blown piston. The new motor comes with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty through Mini, perfect for a high mileage commuter. I just got it through the break in period. When they replaced the motor there was only 20% life left on the clutch. They agreed to replace the clutch if I paid for the parts ($350). How could I say no. From what I hear Mini Clutches typically go between 80k and 100k and is $2000 - $3000 job alone. It also has the remainder of the Mini Next 6 year, 100k mile warranty which also includes Mini roadside assistance.

The OEM R56 roof rack is detachable, but it's not the easiest thing in the world to take on / off. The GPS was installed by the dealer for the previous owner. I think it's just double stick tape.
