WTB: 2004 or 2005 or 2006 Mini Cooper S (or JCW) -- specific colors / options
WTB: Revised 2005 or 2006 Mini Cooper S (or JCW) -- Chilli Red
Ok, I've revised what I'm looking for:
Color: Chilli Red -- 1st preference is checkerboard roof and mirrors, 2nd preference is black roof, mirrors and stripes, 3rd preference is white roof, mirrors and stripes.
Options: looking for a manual, fully loaded car with the exception of Nav (don't really need it, but wouldn't exclude a car that had it, presuming the owner didn't want a huge premium for it).
Mileage: looking for average miles (12k-15k per year) to moderately high mileage (15k-17.5k per year)
Location: I'm in the Midwest (Columbus or Cincinnati, Ohio) so closer is better. Anything within a 6 hour drive is acceptable (or if longer, someone who is willing to drive and meet me so that my drive is limited to 6 hours or less). I travel frequently for business to the following locations: Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Charleston, Houston, Birmingham, St. Louis. Trips on the immediate horizon (October and November) are: Houston & Salt Lake City.
JCW/Modifications: I'm open to cars with the JCW package or modified cars (if coherently and tastefully done). Non-cosmetic modifications preferred. Primary preference is for a stock vehicle, however.
Price: TBD. I guess the only thing I have to offer is I'm willing to pay market price based on actual transaction prices, not what some book says it "should sell for".
Purchase Transaction: I'm pre-approved for financing via Key Bank, but would look at other creative alternatives (i.e. lease take-overs and buy-outs) if the total out of pocket price is within the range stated above.
Thanks for your time in reading this.

Ok. I'm in Charlotte next week (arrive evening of the 20th, depart on the 21st). Yellow wasn't on my shopping list, but maybe I'll feel differently if I see the car in person. The evening of the 20th is probably my best bet -- although I do not yet know if/when I will need to go to dinner that evening. Will keep you posted.
I have a general idea but am not as familiar with the option packages as I should be -- is there a resource where I can see a complete listing of what is included in each option package so I can price at Edmunds.com?

Yeah, I've done that for 2006 models, but as far as I'm aware (could be wrong) there isn't a tool out there that allows you to do that for models no longer in production (i.e. 2004 and 2005).
