What's with the exhaust pointing to the right? Ha? I prefer to hang to the left.
Brian, I don't have 30 G's, but ask Randy if he will take a twelve pack and a picture of Bruce Lee in trade.

The exhaust is turnable so you can point it away from sound meters. I liked the megaphone the most though.

, It's the fastest Mini in the country!
Best to pull out when your ahead I guess. Don't want to have to race against a car that actually has working brakes...
Wondering if a central air system comes with all that ductwork in the back..
What's that supposed to be anyway? :impatient

.... I might have to disagree about it being a rear diffuser, especially one that works. That might be an attempt at a rear diffuser, but that mess has got to create way more drag then it does downforce. I might bet no downforce at all....

Well say what you like, but as soon as we tested that piece the car under steered like mad. We added the front splitter to dial it out.
And no, it is not street legal.
Fastest "Road Racing" MINI
. I believe FBT holds the fastest MINI title. -Brian

Anyway,
Where did you test the car to find that it under steered like mad? Better yet, when did you test the car to then find out you needed to add splitter? As I remember the story there was "..no shake down time at all..." before the race, and you had the splitter on there.
At what speed did you feel that it under steered like mad?
Anyone who knows aero would laugh at that 'diffuser'.

But if you must know, we tested the diffuser out in St. Louis before he added the splitter for Summit point. He told me he was experiencing under steer while rotating the car into turn one (75-80mph) and also while coming onto the oval after the infield section (accelerating from around 45mph). The splitter brought it back into balance at Summit.

Dave, sorry about going off track here. I was just commenting on the content, but I agree that it went off track.
Brian, Sorry, I was confused because I did read that "During the racers' first practice lap, Randy Webb overcooked the number 93 car into turn one..." at "..over 90 mph into the wall" so I was unaware that he had time to test this contraption. I guess he had taken turn one a few times before he crashed the wall at over 90 mph.
Sorry about that. I'll try and continue to stay out of any threads that have to do with Webb.
