Maybe Selling my 03'MCS.. help?!?!

Hello Everyone,

I am thinking of selling me Mini Cooper S, as it is becoming very hard to maintain my full time job and go to school full time. No full time job means I can't pay for the Mini. I have to think of my future and School is more important. Although I love my Mini I have to drop my work hours to be able to do well at school.

Below I have a list of the Factory options and the aftermarket parts I have added. It is important to know that the car has damage on the passenger door, fender and also I believe it is very close to needing a new clutch and the front windshield has a crack from a dam Rock (however your insurance will cover this, I didn’t call mine because I'm thinking of selling the car). But for the price I want give you more than enough room to repair these problems
The Car owes as of today around 14K and I am willing to sell it for what it owes.

So I would ask $14000. I would also take a good offer.

My question is do you guys believe I am asking a fair price?

I will be posting pictures later on, I have to take them.

Sorry to hear that you have to part ways with your car. You need to post pictures (Inside and out) of your MINI so people can see it. Your car is very modified and it may not be everyone's cup of tea, so be patient.

Also I suggest you selling the car in Craigslist.com, autotrader.com and cars.com.

Fair price? Honestly I don't know because your car is very modified inside and out and I am not sure how those mods have affected the resale value.

A bone stock '03 MCS like yours should be in the $17K-$19K ball park.

I know I have a lot of modifications but I really was not thinking of selling it. But most of them are for show really... I have never been to a track or a race strip... The most I have ever done is race some one on the expressway on a straight away, I mean 17-18 PSI have to be used at some point . on the average I get about 24-26 MPG or 320-340 which tells you I never run my car.

I'll have the picute hopefully this weekend I just have a heavy school week... I have to study for a few tests

I think I would go as low as $13700 on the price...

I'm a little sad about it... and trust me I have been thinking of ways to keep it for about 2 month now... but I have not found a way...

I will list it on autotrader/ebay etc as soon as I get pictures...

I just want to get opinions on the price...

Thanks
Carlos

Close to needing a new clutch at 32,000? And it hasn't been driven hard? Something doesn't add up. But the asking price adds up nicely!

You might actually make more money in the end if you remove as many of the mods as possible and get it close to factory spec, then sell off the mods individually.

You could do some searching around on eBay, etc to research the value of your mods and find out if this would be a worthwhile approach.
