rx7cat, near Austin.... you wouldn't know Walt and Chris Taylor would you? Chris races spec RX7's. They live just south of Austin, near Elroy.

I know them from SCCA races. I was thinking (still am) about seeing if I can rent a car from them to do a school some time.

It really is a great little car, but now I have 5 cars so it needs a new home.

 

Counting the days till I return. If I can't find a suitable car nearby, which has been the case so far, I might have to fly out and bring it home. If I pay, could we set up and independent inspection of the car. I had a buddy just drive 500 miles each way to pick a car and it wasn't respresented very well online. When he ask the girl why the pictures didn't show any of the damage, she said she had used pictures that she had taken 6 years earlier in the ad. Some people are either retarded or shady. I don't think that is the case here, but cars that are raced tend to have higher wear on bearings, brakes, etc...and it might not even be 100% apparent to you even.
