FS: MINI Coop S JCW GP #1007 - So. Fla - $28k - Motivated
Some may find this funny, or outrageous, or outrageuosly funny, but to ship the GP would cost $22K to $25K (landed cost already, including taxes). Add the unit cost of $26K, and you find GP1007 imported to Manila for a whopping $48K to $51K.
GP 0342 was sold here for $70K brand new, which is what motivated me to pursue GP 1007.
Oh well, as what the oldies say, as long as you don't intentionally hurt anyone, do whatever makes you happy. Especially if you can afford it.
By the way, 1 US dollar = 40 Philippine pesos. It was once $1 = P56. Somewhat pricey really to import a MINI as there are no dealerships here. At least, none yet as of the moment.

(stop denying that you bought this!
at least the bright side of it is...me and the guys get to test drive it on the track
^^Exactly. My parents live in Brazil and had a vehicle shipped there from the US. 75% taxes on MSRP.
However you still come out better than buying an imported car directly from the dealer there, where you have about an 125% markup. Many times even more!

Thanks again, guys. Cost nothwithstanding, i am getting quite excited to drive it here.
Mini_Macky, i know you are also as excited. You've been itching to outperform a JCW or a GP in the track time trials. You are gonna get that chance. Soon. Woohoo...
