Concours D'Elegance
 

Is anyone 'round these parts going to the this year's Concours D'Elegance at the Arapahoe Community College on June 4.

I'm going to go, but I wanted to see if anyone was interested, maybe we could put together a quick ride/trip to the show? :thumbsup:

I was also thinking about heading to the Automezzi at the Rocky Mtn College of Art & Design on June 11, has anyone gone to the previous ones? How is it?

who is responsible for the schedule. I am sure you will hear from them. These are shows we have considered in the past and have had members attend. They have fallen on dates that were booked but looked like fun.

I go to the ACC show every year, if I can make it, but usually ride the Aprilia over if weather is good (usually Africa Hot at that one, tho)...

besides which, my neighbor is going to show his new (used) 968. Chili Red, cleaned it up, chipped, exhaust, wheels and tires, enlarged intake box. Very nice...

Rick will have the supply. Contact him at info@MINI5280.org. We sell them at cost, not as a fund raiser. I believe they are still $15 but not for sure.

Anyway, our most recent supply just came in and we have plenty...

showed up just after 9:00 but didn't see anybody else at that time. while talking to the lady with the gray '03 with red flames one of the guys showed up but i don't remember his name. saw a blue mini in the north parking lot not too far from mine when i left around noon. was wearing my 5280 hat. way too many porches and vettes for my taste though, still took a lot of photos. if anybody is interested i will post them on nothingrhymeswithorange.fotki.com sometime soon i hope.

and Rick and I did make it to ACC yesterday, right at 3 pm. We did score a few MINIs but not a lot. Yet, too many Corvettes. Maybe next year I will lead a big MINI effort and get pp in there. Perhaps we can use some club dues for food and bev to keep people cool. Hey, maybe we chip in for a vendor tent and vend.

I was there from 10:30 until about 1:30. I didn't see anyone in a Mini hat (I was looking, too!), but I hung around the couple Minis that were in the show for a little while (I even talked option packages with a few people that were checking 'em out) I had a blast, but you are right J, there were a crapload of Vettes. I love Porsches, so I didn't have a problem with the large amount of those. :)
