CM trip pics - More to come.
CM trip pics - More to come.
Long day on the road today as we wrapped up our vacation driving Glacier NP, Waterton Canada NP and Red Lodge Montana for the BearTooth and Chief Joseph Highways.
Here is a stats link: STATS and a couple pictures.
More will be forthcoming as I edit down 1000 + from this great vacation.
The Countryman is a comfortable road MINI, gas mileage was not stellar, but tolerable 27.9-28 avg. with some highs around 32 mpg AVG.
Had some interesting issues, but nothing that put us on a flat-bed, but it will go to the MINI dealer this week. :(

I will post additional links in this topic area.

Thanks Dan... I will be plunking some more pics up in the public areas later this eve.
Here is a link and picture from some of the fun with our CM.
Countryman on a road trip.
One picture of a great MINI road, Scooter would have loved this one. RocketDog had lots of fun, too.

Wonder of wonders.
I really must thank Chuck and his wife publicly, since they suggested Pat and I spend a day or so exploring Red Lodge, Montana.
We found the The Pollard Hotel (excellent) and they have just opened a new British Pub. (great food, tapas pub grub with some flair).

Wonderful little town with a bit of Estes, a bit of Vail/Aspen and a lot of Western.

Don i remember you saying that you think the CM's run rich.... im inclined to agree with you as our exhaust pipes are black from soot... altitude maybe? any way great pics, and i am intrigued by the lil faults you may have encountered. Trav
Yes, little faults. I will post a pic, in a private album and share it with you.
Per the MOL tech, all the error messages resulted from one faulty assembly in the trans. Never did leave us stranded, just aggravated.
Will see next week if it fixes all problems, part arrived from warehouse today, they had to order on recommendation of MINI Countryman engineer/special tech.
