If you don't dawdle you should be done in time. If not take off from where you are and go to the shoot. Awards and prize drawings will be at 4:30 PM and the route closes at 4:20 PM. We will be done with everything by 5:30 PM.
So I would say even if you are only able to do half the route, it is worth it for the fun, the challenge and the swag.
See you Sunday.

Wow! Our new friends at MINIMotoringGraphics (www.minimotoringgraphics.com) have made for the first 50 cars a badge to commemorate Yalla Yalla 2008.

So not only do you get a Detailers Paradise Monster Fluffy towel, but a custom badge and I got some other stuff to stick in your bag as well.
You will seriously be kicking yourself if you miss this one!

You will need more than 50

Since we will have 62 cars attending. Less if it rains.

We will be set-up to take registrations at 9:30 AM if you care to come early and beat the rush (and secure your towel & badge).

Ah Girlbombs, now I get it.

Bad movie thread.

So, anyone who comes early to Yalla Yalla might want to consider a good Mexican breakfast at Old Santa Fe.

A couple of menu items. All come with rice, beans or home potatoes and 3 flour tortillas.

Chorizo and Eggs is Chorizo, sauce scrambled with 3 eggs.

Breakfast Burrito, large flour tortilla filled with eggs and home potatoes smothered with green chile and cheese. Chorizo can be added for a $.

Machaca (my favorite), tasty shredded beef with scrambled eggs, onions, spicy jalapenos, fresh tomatoes and cheese. I usually ask them to use 1/2 the jalapenos.

Yes, OSF is my alternate kitchen, I am a regular.

Coffee is good, too.

Richard - If he shows up he will get a ride. If not in one of the participants cars then at the very least a sweeper vehicle. If he does secure a ride in a Yalla Yalla car, he better be good at navigating.

I have the 2006 CD and still listen to it. That is one of the 763 fine and/or great things about Yalla Yalla - Free Music Soundtrack!
Jonathan, to regain your lost points can you list, in order, the other 762 fine and/or great things about Yalla Yalla?

'The ACTUAL TRACK that Kendall did some years ago, with people singing the YY Yalla Yalla song. Yes, they actually say 'Yalla Yalla'."

That would be Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros (sp?) with a song entitled "Yalla Yalla". I have that one, but you said you hated it so it isn't on this year's sound track.

Time keeps on slipping into the future. (who sang that little gem)?
We can handle only about 4,387 cars in this year's Yalla Yalla. We have materials and bags for the first 50, but we can handle the other 4,337 if they show.
On Sunday morning at 3:28 AM I'm printing off the final NAM list. There are several that have contacted me about doing Yalla Yalla but have no NAM account to sign-up. The first 50 cars to sign-in receive a swag bag and Yalla Yalla materials, that's all we got so plan accordingly.
