Im still trying to figure out why you did not leave the remote with the car? It is needed. what would be the point of keeping it?

pretty sure since you’re asking the question, you know the answer. $150 vs. doing the ethical thing. If it’s anything, I wholeheartedly agree.

Yeah I know I was trying to be nice about it, but then I went back and read it again and it says he "SOLD my 2019" no one sells their new car like that, my guess is going to be that the car was being repossessed and he was doing the not 'ethical' thing and grabbing everything he could out of the car to get a little money. Just a guess.

Cause if you sold the car, why would you not give the new owner the remote, I can see keeping the 3D printed holder, but the remote to the exhaust, just not cool.

guys, he traded to dealer, they most likely they replaced the remote. Probably forgot to leave it in the car...

No harm no foul. Sounds like a case of convenient amnesia. The dealer is happy to charge $250 for the new remote or roll it into the cost to the next owner. Someone in the community gets a lower cost replacement and the guy selling makes a quick few bucks. Not something I’d do but I can understand the convoluted logic.
