Front 180mm Rotors and Brakes (Brand New Set)

Category: Brakes
Price: $35
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R55, R56, R57, R58, R59
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Brand New

Not interested in shipping, must pickup in Boston, MA

A set of generic Front Rotors and ceramic pads for MiniCooper. These are 280mm. The r55, r56, r57, r58, r59 ALL use 280mm rotors on their base models. (I need 294mm rotors for my 2007 R56S)

2007-2013 R56 MINI Cooper Hardtop
2008-2014 R55 MINI Cooper Clubman
2009-2015 R57 MINI Cooper Convertibles
2012-2015 R58 MINI Cooper Coupe
2012-2015 R59 MINI Cooper Roadster

You can call the manf 1800 # on the photo if you feel the need to double check fit your car. (My car was a 07 S, and I needed the 294mm ones).

Hope these will find a good home -- can't beat the price!

You mean 280mm and 294mm? 280mm being Base and S models and 294mm being JCW.

Yes, and No

Yes, I was off by 100mm Just edited the listing. Thanks for the headsup!
No, The 294mm also fits the 2007 r56 S. This is what screwed me up to start with -- and the reason for the extra set of brakes for sale here

Ahh yes. The R56S has 294mm front and the base R56 has 280mm. R56's are goofy that way. I have both R53 JCW and R56S and they both have the same brakes luckily. The R50 R52 & R53's without JCW are 276mm so you may want to redirect this at R56 base models specifically. Unless someone has fitted R56 base fronts to their Gen 1 which would be a little silly :p

Who ever buys these, please make sure you need 280mm rotors I am so damn confused. Look at this link:
https://new.minimania.com/Mini_Coope...lacement_Guide

I can confirm that a 1st gen JWC has the same size 294mm rotors as a 2nd Gen S. A 2nd Gen JWC is 316mm rotors. But most importantly the r55, r56, r57, r58 ALL use 280mm rotors on their base models!

Yes. All Gen 2 base models (except countryman) have the 280mm fronts. The S models have the 294mm and the JCW is 316mm. The 280mm doesn't fit the first gen MINI unless someone did a swap which is silly.

Gen 1 MINI's all had 276mm unless you had the JCW brakes which were 294mm. All had the same 259mm rear units for base, S, and JCW models. The rears on the R56 were the same as Gen 1 unless it is factory JCW brakes which upgraded to 280mm solid rotors (not vented like the 280mm front rotors).

The table on MINIMania is spot on

I need a set for my 09 R55 S. But I see you don't want to ship to 63069. If you change your mind, let me know. I'll probably procrastinate for another day or so in the meantime...

Sure, send a pre-paid USPS shipping label.

Although I think the shipping will be more than the parts themselves
