Been looking into CAE for my R53 as well. Has anyone seen the RTD shifter? It looks like the center console doesn't need to be trimmed. Maybe a good lower-cost alternative.

Thanks for that link!

I was unaware of RTD.

Good to have options.

The pic they show w/o trimming looks to be an R56?

It's hard to find a pic of an R53 install, but there was one on the RTD instagram and it did require trimming the same as CAE/Coolerworx:

I looked on their site and there appear to be 2 options. One version locking and the other is the "V4."

Here's a pic I got from their site with V4 installed in the R53.

I posted pictures of mine with the CAE installed. I’ll see if I can find them.

Love my CAE

Would love to put one in my GP as well, but don't want to cut the dash again.. but god is the cae so nice.

coolerworx is probably just the same.. there's not much too them. rtd seems similar too

Why are these so much and what’s the benefits? When I bought my R53 I put a Ravenspeed in since I was installing a Milltek system. I don’t like the Ravenspeed short shifter and keep it in its highest adjustment level.
