Used this on my 2017 JCW Mini till yesterday, installed Feb 2018, worked great just put car back to stock to trade. Worked perfect from day one not one problem. Awesome boost gains you will feel the difference.

Will this work only on the JCW? I have a 2019 Justa and your listing just might be what causes me to pull the trigger.

 

Elephant in the room here. I imagine it cannot be re-registered and therefore wouldn't carry the warranty?

 

I am not sure it cant be re registered, i know the warranty is transferable when you sell your car, I would call dinan to make sure but I think it is transferable as long as your car is still under manufactures warranty

 

I dont believe it will work with a justa sorry, needs a turbo charger to add boost

 

The F5X/F60 Justas are turbocharged (BMW's B36 engine). I'm going to contact Dinan and see if the module can be programmed to work with a non-JCW car (I see in your pics that it specifically says JCW on the module).

 

the sport is 300 and does not have a warranty, so I figure pay a little more than a sport and get elite boost levels, and maybe get warranty

 

I was not aware they were turbo charged, but maybe it will work then, they have an elite for model s, the only cars i know it wont work on are pre Dec 2014 cars due to diff connector types

called and spoke to the manufacture come to find out this can only be used on a JCW vehicle. He had suggested that you might be able to go to the Mini dealer and have them override the programming inside this unit but as it stands currently right now this will not work for an S it will only work for a JCW due to the programming inside the unit.
