Gen1 JCW Front Brake Set

Category: Brakes
Price: $300
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53
Location (Region): SouthEast
Item Condition: Used

I upgraded to Brembos, Chevy Cobalt SS with MINI GP2 Rotors (I have a thread in the Tires,Wheels & Brakes section), so I am selling the full front sets that I removed. The calipers have never been painted and you will note that the JCW emblem is worn. The rotors are StopTech 294 x 22 mm, # 126-34101SL/SR and the pads are EBC Yellow Stuff # DP 41789R. The rotors and pads have just over 7,000 miles on them and the calipers have 56,000.

I do not track nor AX but I have done several mountain runs with the rotors/pads.

Shipping not included as the distance and the time frame changes the cost significantly.

OK, the Gen1 JCW front calipers with the 294 mm rotor became the Gen2 standard brake set up on the 2007 and up S models (does not pertain to the R52). I am not a Gen2 guy so don't know allot about the wheel sizes they utilize. It appears the X-84 was used on the Gen2 S.

So if RedAggie bows out then Timbo14 is in,

They are similar, but not the exact same as Gen 2.

For anyone looking, you can get replacement JCW logos from the UK

The "MINI LA Wheel X-Lite 84" wheels (sorry, corrected the name) were the second lightest wheel on the GEN1 MINI, only beat by the 15" holies as they're called. I wish these would work, but now I'm wondering if I can upgrade just my caliper and keep the smaller rotor size to clear the wheels I want to keep.

I'm only littering your FS ad because I hope I can actually use these - I just need to verify before buying.

Yup, here is the link and I have used them before. Very high quality not eBay quality.
