The perch is not loose or separated at all, the shocks are brand new and never mounted. The mounting hardware that comes with is still in the plastic sealed bag.
I've had this second set (I have a set on my car) just sitting in my garage and want to get rid of them. Initially I thought I'd get another Mini that I'd use them on but it doesn't look like that's going to work out so I have no use for this second set.
