1st gen JCW grill badge

Looking for the 1st gen JCW grill badge. I bought a 2006 JCW and it has no front badge. I'd like to add one but all I can find out there are the newer style badges. If you are parting out or run across an old style JCW badge, please let me know! Example of the old style is attached.

Yes I have seen the badges available on some sites such as ECS Tuning and I honestly have to say there is no way I would ever pay over $100 for something that is available for Gen 2 Minis on Amazon for $5.

Ok, just making sure. :)
Yea the amazon ones are not from MINI or authorized. Once BMW group see's it a trademark infringement most likely those will be on the chopping block. We cant even sell those things or things like it.

Good luck on the search sorry we don't have another option.

I spent quite a while looking my pre merger front badge. These are beginning to become like my old AMG parts -Unobtanium-

For what it's worth, the quality of the old style badges is in my opinion far superior to the newer style OEM ones. The new style ones are plastic and I've seen they fade and loss their red paint after a while. The older style are metal, and more like a nice piece of jewelry. Not saying it's worth $100, but definitely worth some premium over the newer style ones.

You could also attempt to use a rear badge and glue it to the grill. That's I've done on mine since I had an extra kind of beat of older style rear badge. I used Goop Max glue, and it seems to be holding well. That part number would be 51140306113 or 51147175102.

The even more elusive JCW badges are the scuttle ones though...

Any one have another to match?

Still looking!

Still looking. The only ones have I found are pretty sandblasted, or obscenely expensive.

downshift1 06-21-2018 07:57 AM

They're about $107 if you search the part number.

By the time you buy a worn used one for $40-50 then add shipping $10-15 why not spring the extra cash and get a mint new one?

These (pn 51140306114) were included in the JCW Engine Tuning Kit for the R50 and are NLA.
