Thumbs up Interior Trim Kit - English Oak Wood Dash, Door, Steering Wheel

Category: Interior
Price: $449
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R55, R56, R57, R58, R59
Location (Region): SoCal
Item Condition: Used

Hello,

Up for sale is a complete English Oak Wood trim retrofit kit. I purchased this about a year ago directly from MINI and paid an absolute fortune for everything. This is a rare opportunity to source all the pieces needed for this conversion. I've personally never seen another MINI in person with the English Oak trim let alone one with the English Oak steering wheel. I broke down all the pieces included and the original price paid for them.

32306783354 - List $822.00 - English Oak Steering Wheel
51452752211 - List $174.37 - English Oak Passenger Dash Panel
51452752878 - List $175.24 - English Oak Driver Dash Panel
51412753329 - List $120.25 - English Oak Door Trim Left
51412753330 - List $120.25 - English Oak Door Trim Right
Total: $1,412.11

I am asking a fraction of what I originally paid for these items. I am asking $450 or $480 shipped, I have the original boxes for all the items (except the steering wheel) and they can be included but shipping will be a bit more expensive that way. Everything is in good condition, the driver dash piece has a little scratch on it that is not visible once installed, there is a photo of it attached. Open to offers.

Buyers responsible for any fees with their payment method, I accept cash, Paypal, etc.

Thanks for looking, if you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out.

That's beautiful.

Is the steering wheel for manual or auto with paddle shifters?

It looks like the center of the steering wheel is common with other MINI 2nd gen wheels. That means that you can do some trimming (x-acto knife) and add paddle shifters to this. I've done that previously on a JCW wheel and it worked well. There are a couple of How-To articles on doing this.

The 'frame' of the wheels are the same, but the paddle shifted versions have different foam filler. So by trimming out the foam, you expose the existing holes that are in the frame to mount the paddles.

Have fun,
Mike

to Alpha Motoring for always bringing the good stuff to the Marketplace.

You can also do a paddle shifter delete, and no need to cut into the steering wheel. Just requires the little wire harness from a non-paddle shift car (the wire that connects to the multi-function controls for radio and cruise). I did this in my wife’s old R55 to install a GP steering wheel.

Gorgeous. Free bump. I really miss the English oak from my R55. The F-series just has nothing like it.
