Perhaps some of your page viewers have been detoured by that damn Amazon $1000 gift card pop up advert on mobile. I’ve had this ad pop up on 3 out of the last 4 page views.. and it takes you to another page without the option of going back. Annoying and disrupts commerce.
But is it real. Last knight it popped up on my mobile I went and answered the 3 questions and it told me I won but then when it started asking for my info I chickened out.

The ad pops up no matter what page I view on NAM when I use mobile. I have to hit “request desktop page” on my iPhone and the ads go away. It’s very annoying and the type of ad is borderline phishing scheme. No, it’s not real. Yes you will get tons of spam if you give them your info. The mere act of clicking on this will likely install tracking cookies and who knows what else. Why is this type of advertising on our forum?? ...and why is it targeting members? This is what you would expect from a **** site.
The pop up I get is telling me I have viruses and have to download an app to get rid of them.
And this is supported by our web hosting for the forum. I’ve been a member for over 10 years, but this is a breaking point for me. Nefarious advertising is a deal breaker.

After checking around I think a virus may have got on the site. I am not an expert though.

It seems to me you benefited from NAM selling enough of your stuff. A site has to survive with revenue sources. Go try Fartbook if you think they are better. Fartbook installs Trojan and spys on you, and monitor your photos and your communications. I would not want to be a child molester and use Fartbook, but fortunately for me I am neither, unless you consider my Mini a minor.

They pop up 5 out of 7 times and redirect you to another page without allowing you to click back. If anything, it keeps you from patronizing the real advertisers.
