R53 Auto Dim Rear View Mirror

The key fob receiver in the mirror has died and needs to be replaced. Right now the mirror works, but won't communicate with key less. There's a number of threads here with instructions on how to swap in a new one.
These are 400+ on ecstuning, looking for 50 plus shipping. Located in MI.

Pre or Facelift? I have a PFL so I am pretty sure my key doesn't communicate with the mirror anyway. Will it work with just a power connection? If so I'll take it. Will you ship to Australia? Otherwise I have a freight forwarder.

This is from a face lift car 2005-2006. I can't say I know if it will work with a power connection. I'd be willing to ship to Australia at cost, let me know.
