1 Attachment(s)
Gen 1 JB+ for sale. Easy plug n' play HP with no warranty void. The sweet spot I found was about 65-70% with my R55. Definitely makes the car WAY more fun!

I'm getting a Manic tune may 12th, so I can ship it the next day.

Shipping included in the price.
PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp all work for me.

So how do the JB+ and the Manic tunes compare?

sammcdade 08-29-2017 05:50 AM

JB+ - "wow, this makes my car more fun"
Stage 2, Manic - "Holy butt clench, it's a monster"

So I can't speak for a Stage 1 tune. I went with Stage 2 because I had all the mods to support it. But it took my car from a fun go cart to a true performance tuner. I've been destroying big HP cars in little sprints lately when they want to have a go at it. I now have the weight / HP ratio to stick with them in straights plus the handling and size of a mini!

If warranty is not a factor for you, it's 100% worth it to spend the extra $300 or so to get the tune. I will say that you will definitely need to upgrade your tires to put the tune's HP to the ground. The stock run flats that the minis come with are terrible performance tires. My BFGoodrich g-Force COMP 2 A/S tires are extremely sticky, but I still have little-to-no traction through 1st and half of 2nd gear.

I may have overshared here, but hope you find the info useful!
