I installed this on my stock suspension Mini and got rubbing issues, so out it goes. You can see the spot where the black paint was rubbed off. It was rubbing on a flange that sticks out slightly farther than the frame itself.

I suspect the issue was that my car was previously hit on the rear quarter panel at ~10mph. The alignment is damaged so that the rear doesn't have the range to toe out to factory spec. I'm guessing the frame is slightly tweaked too.

$150 OBO. Shipping is probably not worth it for you at ~$70 for UPS Ground so let's meet locally if possible (SF bay area).

I installed that bar on a friends car and it was rubbing on what I believe to be the same flange that your talking about on the passenger side. Nothing a little dremel and hammer couldn't take care of.

Yeah that's totally it, on the passenger side. Good to know it wasn't my car specifically.
