Outmotoring shows three distinct different armrests.

1. 2002 thru June 2004 All
2. July 2004 thru December 2006 Hatchback
3. July 2004 thru December 2006 Convertible

Which armrest do you have?
Thanks.

wpgmini,

Thank you for clarification. This one fits July 2004-Dec 2006 Hatchback. I will clarify the ad, too.

bahman, can you tell me where the part # is on the armrest? I have the same one (bought from a seller here on NAM) but haven't drilled the holes in the cupholder yet, and I'm wondering if my version will have fitment issues (I drive an '04). So I'm now hesitating to drill anything. Cool armrest, though! Goes well with the Mini's interior look.

Filmy,

I don't have the part number handy. You can trial-fit the armrest before installing it. MINI changed the rear cup-holder diameter for the face-lift models and you can tell if the diameter matches yours. If the diameter matches, so will the depth.

I have it stuck in the cupholder now. It's snug but not yet drilled in. And it's actually not uncomfortable where it is. But if I drill it, it will sit lower which may be too low to shift, etc. I just wondered about the differences in model numbers. Thanks for the reply.

So did the diameter get bigger or smaller in 04?

Hmm. What's the actual difference? Wonder if I can modify my cupholder to fit. I'm highly interested.
