I've never used this unit.

Purchased this from another forum member shortly after buying my car used from a non-MINI dealership: an 09' JCW with an Accessport stage III tune and all the bolt-ons. Somehow, the Accessport used to flash my JCW is long lost. I suspect the dealership tossed all the aftermarket goodies in the dumpster for liability purposes (what a waste).

Driving the car stage III has been rock-solid reliable. The Borla exhaust is not exactly quiet, but the burble & pop on deceleration sounds fantastic.
I will definitely vouch for the performance gain--as in I can induce wheel spin from a roll in third gear on most roads.:thumbsup:

Again, I have never plugged this in to my vehicle. It is unmarried and ready for your R56. Price is firm and includes shipping worldwide.
