R56 Non-Powerfold Checkered mirror caps for Black

Category: Exterior
Price: $0
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R56
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

Edit: Found what I was looking for (see post #7)

Like the title says, looking to trade factory R56 non-powerfold checker mirror caps in great condition for factory black mirror caps. May also consider a trade plus cash for OEM JCW carbon fiber mirrors. Caps must be in equally as good as condition as the ones I'm offering up. Located in Louisville, KY. Perfectly fine with shipping for the right trade. Thanks for looking!

Yes I've read it. but are you willing to sell your caps? Mines all faded like a banana peel.

Possibly, if I were to find a set for sale before trading. I'll let you know if that's the case.

They are in fantastic shape. No nicks, scratches, clear coat peel or fade. The mirror caps I would be trading for would need to be in equally as great shape.

Well thanks for the interest guys but no longer looking for a trade. Popped the checker caps off today and was suprised to find two flawless factory black painted caps hiding underneath the checkered vinyl...

So you don't really have the checkered caps, you have vinyl overlays!!

No, these ARE.. err.. were.. factory MINI checker caps. I had an idea that MINI used vinyl covering for their checkered accessories, but didn't know they covered up the factory black painted caps to do so. The inside of the caps still reads "checkered" and has the OEM part number as well. Guess I just assumed they were epoxied or double sided taped to a primer or paintless cap.
